Salary and posts after DSSSB
Posts in the Government of NCT of Delhi and its bodies (Directorate of Education, municipal bodies, hospitals and departments): mostly teachers, plus clerks, nurses, engineers and others.

Example: a candidate with a degree in English, a B.Ed. and CTET who is selected as TGT (English) is posted to a Delhi government school and teaches Classes 6 to 10.
Figures are starting basic pay in the 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance (or government housing), Transport Allowance and other allowances are paid on top, so the monthly pay is well above the basic pay and differs by city. The 8th Central Pay Commission, set up in November 2025, will revise the matrix once its report is accepted.
