How the evaluator works
What does the JanWatchdog Startup Evaluator check?
It scores a startup idea for India on thirteen parameters in two pillars, feasibility (can it be launched?) and sustainability (can it last?), using costs, a 36-month cash model, stress tests, government schemes and the licences the business needs.
How is the pass mark set?
There is no fixed pass mark. Each plan is compared with a workable plan in the same sector, stage, business model and place, scored the same way, and must not fall far short on the sector's must-pass parameters.
Is the Startup Evaluator free?
New accounts get free trial evaluations. For more, buy a 1-day or 7-day pass or a monthly or annual plan; payment is through PayU.
