Yuva Nidhi: eligibility, documents and how to apply for it
Who can apply for Yuva Nidhi
- Graduates and diploma holders domiciled in Karnataka who passed in the academic year 2022-23 or later.
- Still without a job, and not in higher studies, 180 days after passing.
- Rs 3,000 a month for graduates and Rs 1,500 for diploma holders, for up to two years or until they find work.
Who is not eligible for Yuva Nidhi
- Those pursuing higher studies, in employment or self-employment, or getting a similar allowance from another scheme.
How to apply for Yuva Nidhi, step by step
- Register for Yuva Nidhi on the Seva Sindhu portal with Aadhaar, your degree or diploma details and proof of domicile.
- The department verifies the qualification and residence.
- Submit the self-declaration that you are still unemployed every month on the portal, or the allowance stops.
- Payment is made by direct benefit transfer to your Aadhaar-linked account. It ends when you get a job or join higher studies.
