Jammu–Baramulla line: Cost, Status and Completion Date
The Jammu–Baramulla line (including the Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramula Rail Link (USBRL) subsection) is a 324 km long railway between the cities of Jammu and Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir India. It is fully operational as of 7 June 2025. Connecting the Kashmir Valley with the rest of India, this rail link has major geostrategic importance for the Indian armed forces .
