Who can apply for Mukhyamantri Kisan Sahay Yojana
- Farmers in Gujarat who hold the land in the record of rights (and forest-rights holders) whose crops are damaged by drought, excess rain or unseasonal rain.
- Only villages the State notifies after a season's assessment are covered.
- Assistance per hectare for crop loss of 33% to 60%, and a higher amount for loss above 60%, for up to 4 hectares. No premium is charged.
How to apply for Mukhyamantri Kisan Sahay Yojana, step by step
- Applications open only after the State notifies the affected villages for a season. Watch for the notice from the agriculture department and your Gram Panchayat.
- Apply at the e-Gram centre (village computer entrepreneur) of your Gram Panchayat with the 7/12 and 8-A land records, Aadhaar and bank details.
- The revenue and agriculture staff verify the crop loss.
- The assistance is paid to your bank account.
