Who can apply for CGTMSE (collateral-free credit for micro and small enterprises)
- New and existing micro and small enterprises in manufacturing, services and retail trade, with Udyam registration.
- Loans without collateral or third-party guarantee from member banks and lenders, with guarantee cover up to Rs 10 crore.
How to apply for CGTMSE (collateral-free credit for micro and small enterprises), step by step
- Get Udyam registration (free) on udyamregistration.gov.in.
- Apply for the loan at a bank or NBFC that is a CGTMSE member, and ask for CGTMSE cover.
- The lender appraises the loan and takes the guarantee from CGTMSE.
- An annual guarantee fee applies, usually passed on by the lender.
