Stand-Up India: eligibility, documents and how to apply for it
Who can apply for Stand-Up India
- SC or ST and/or women entrepreneurs aged 18 or more.
- A first-time (greenfield) enterprise in manufacturing, services, trading or activities allied to agriculture.
- For companies and firms, at least 51% of the shares and control held by an SC/ST or woman entrepreneur.
- Not in default to any bank. Loans from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 1 crore.
How to apply for Stand-Up India, step by step
- Register on standupmitra.in, or apply directly at a bank branch or through the district's Lead District Manager.
- Fill in your details and the project. If you are new to business, you can ask for handholding support (training, project report help).
- The bank appraises the project and sanctions a composite loan for the assets and working capital.
- Repayment is up to 7 years, with a moratorium of up to 18 months.
