Who can apply for Free bus travel for women (Saheli Pink Smart Card)
- Women, girls and transgender persons aged 5 and above who live in Delhi, with an Aadhaar showing a Delhi address.
- The card is required for free travel on DTC and cluster buses from 16 August 2026.
How to apply for Free bus travel for women (Saheli Pink Smart Card), step by step
- Go to an authorised card distribution centre (listed by the Transport Department), or pre-register online through the portal it names.
- Complete Aadhaar authentication and mobile verification.
- Collect the first card free. The same card can be topped up for Metro travel.
