Orunodoi 3.0: eligibility, documents and how to apply for it
Who can apply for Orunodoi 3.0
- Women of families enrolled under the National Food Security Act (ration card) in Assam. All Antyodaya (AAY) families are covered.
- Priority groups include widows, unmarried women over 45, transgender persons, persons with disabilities, households whose earning members are disabled or over 60, households caring for members with listed serious illnesses, and households with income below Rs 2 lakh a year.
How to apply for Orunodoi 3.0, step by step
- There is no online application. The family must first hold an NFSA ration card.
- If you do not have one, apply for a ration card at the Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs office of your district or sub-division, or at a Common Service Centre.
- Beneficiaries are selected from the ration card records and verified by the district administration.
- The woman named as head gets Rs 1,250 a month. Make sure the bank account is in her name and linked to Aadhaar.
