Who can apply for Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana

Women aged 21 to 65 who live in Maharashtra: married, widowed, divorced, abandoned or destitute women, and one unmarried woman per family.
Family income up to Rs 2.5 lakh a year.
A bank account in her name linked to Aadhaar.

Who is not eligible for Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana

Families with a member who pays income tax.
Families with a member who is a regular or permanent government employee or a government pensioner.
Families of present or former MPs and MLAs.
Families owning a four-wheeler (tractors are not counted).

How to apply for Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, step by step

Check the portal for an open registration window. After the 2025-26 verification drive, new names are added only when the State reopens registration.
Register on ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in, or apply through the Anganwadi worker or the ward / Gram Panchayat office.
Upload or submit the documents listed above.
Complete Aadhaar e-KYC whenever the department asks. Payments stop for beneficiaries who do not complete it.
Track approval on the portal. Rs 1,500 a month is paid to the Aadhaar-linked bank account.
