Who can apply for Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyami Yojana
- Women and transgender persons who are permanent residents of Bihar, aged 18 to 50.
- Passed 10+2, intermediate, ITI, polytechnic diploma or an equivalent.
- The enterprise must be a new proprietorship or partnership firm.

How to apply for Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyami Yojana, step by step
- Watch for the application window announced by the Bihar Department of Industries on udyami.bihar.gov.in.
- Apply online, choosing a project from the approved list, and upload the documents.
- Applicants are selected by computerised lottery and called for training.
- After training, register the firm, open a current account in its name and submit the project documents. The money is released in instalments.
- Up to Rs 10 lakh is given: half as a grant and half as an interest-free loan repaid in 84 monthly instalments.
