Who can apply for Monthly assistance for women (Mahila Samriddhi Yojana)
- As announced: women aged 21 to 60 who live in Delhi, from families with income below Rs 2.5 lakh a year, registering with a Delhi-address Aadhaar.
- Check the notified rules for exclusions (such as government employees and income-tax payers) before applying.
How to apply for Monthly assistance for women (Mahila Samriddhi Yojana), step by step
- Watch for the registration notice from the Delhi Department of Women and Child Development.
- Register in the mode the notice gives, with a Delhi-address Aadhaar, income proof and an Aadhaar-linked bank account.
- Track approval as the department announces. Payment is by direct benefit transfer.
Electricity subsidy
Who can apply for Electricity subsidy
- Domestic electricity consumers in Delhi who have opted in to the subsidy: no bill up to 200 units a month, and a partial subsidy for 201 to 400 units.
How to apply for Electricity subsidy, step by step
- If your bill does not show the subsidy, opt in through your distribution company (BSES Rajdhani, BSES Yamuna or Tata Power-DDL) by the methods it lists.
- Check the subsidy line on every bill.
- Complain to your distribution company, then to its Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum.
Free bus travel (Saheli Pink Smart Card)
Who can apply for Free bus travel (Saheli Pink Smart Card)
- Women, girls and transgender persons aged 5 and above who live in Delhi, with an Aadhaar showing a Delhi address. The card is required for free travel on DTC and cluster buses from 16 August 2026.
How to apply for Free bus travel (Saheli Pink Smart Card), step by step
- Go to an authorised card distribution centre (listed by the Transport Department), or pre-register online through the portal it names.
- Complete Aadhaar authentication and mobile verification.
- Collect the first card free. The same card can be topped up for Metro travel.
