How to use Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana, step by step

  1. There is no separate application. Find an empanelled hospital on jeevandayee.gov.in.
  2. At the hospital, go to the Arogyamitra help desk with your ration card and Aadhaar (and domicile proof if you hold a white card).
  3. The Arogyamitra registers you and the hospital asks the scheme for pre-authorisation. Treatment for covered procedures is cashless.
  4. Get an Ayushman card made at the hospital or a CSC so that later visits are quicker.
  5. If a hospital asks for money for a covered procedure, complain to the scheme's district coordinator or through the helpline listed on jeevandayee.gov.in.
