Who can apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban 2.0
- Urban families in the EWS (income up to Rs 3 lakh a year), LIG (Rs 3 to 6 lakh) or MIG (Rs 6 to 9 lakh) groups.
- No member of the family (husband, wife, unmarried children) owns a pucca house anywhere in India.
- The house is in the name of the woman of the family or held jointly with her.

- Aadhaar of the applicant and family members
- Aadhaar-linked bank account
- Income proof
How to apply for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban 2.0, step by step
- Register your demand on the PMAY-U 2.0 portal with the documents listed above, or through your urban local body.
- Choose the component: building on your own land, a house in an affordable housing project, affordable rental housing, or the interest subsidy on a home loan.
- The urban local body verifies the application.
- Help is released in instalments, or as an interest subsidy through your bank.
