Who can apply for PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME)
- Individual micro food-processing units (proprietorship or partnership), and FPOs, self-help groups and cooperatives.
- Individual applicants: 18 or older, at least Class 8 pass, one person per family.
- 35% credit-linked capital subsidy up to Rs 10 lakh per unit. The owner puts in at least 10% of the project cost.
How to apply for PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME), step by step
- Register on the PMFME portal (or with help from the District Resource Person).
- The District Resource Person helps prepare the project report and the loan application.
- The State nodal agency recommends the application to the bank, which sanctions the loan.
- The subsidy is released through the bank. Training is also provided.
