  1. Ask the District Social Welfare / Women and Child Development Officer for the Sakhi Niwas hostels in your city.
  2. Get the admission form from the hostel manager or the district office.
  3. Submit it with identity proof, proof of employment or training, and income proof.
  4. Rooms are allotted subject to availability. Children can stay with their mothers as the rules allow.

  1. For a creche, ask your Anganwadi centre or the Child Development Project Officer.
  2. For shelter, approach the One Stop Centre, the police, the District Legal Services Authority or the district Women and Child Development office, which refer women to Shakti Sadan.
